Adeline Sarah Windsor was born on 7 Nov 1871, the fourth daughter and seventh child of Edward Charles Windsor (1827-1893) and his wife Georgiana Cartwright (1839-1903). Adeline married Duncan Charles Mitchell on 1 Dec 1898 at the residence of her mother in Cimitiere Street. By 1914 they had moved to 10 Harrington Street, Hobart. Adeline died aged 72 on 21 Jul 1942 and was buried at Cornelian Bay.
