William Wilson

William Wilson (known as Willy) was one of identical twin brothers, born on 2 Apr 1868 in Crosthwaite, Westmorland, England. They were sons of Henry (1814-1869) and Agnes Wilson (1833-1904). There were seven children in the family: five boys and two girls.

The twins came to Victoria and Tasmania in 1890. William and his twin brother John were both carpenters. They both appear in the Launceston Family Album.

Willy did not marry and died at the age of 26 of typhoid fever on 1 Sep 1894 while living in Green St, Invermay.
