Charles Percival (Percy) Wilson was born on 26 Aug 1869, the son of John Wilson and his wife Mary Annie Seals. He was appointed as a clerk at the Launceston Post Office in Jul 1883 and was still working there at the time of the Exhibition. Charles married Margaret Louisa Liddle at Launceston on 14 Dec 1891. By 1903 they were living at 13 Berean Street, East Launceston. Charles' photo appears in The Weekly Courier on 30 Mar 1907 as a member of the executive committee for an exhibition in the Albert Hall. He is recorded in the Post Office Directory as being in Lower Sandy Bay from 1909 to 1916 and is on the Electoral Roll for Denison, Queenborough Subdivision, as a civil servant.
