George William Tempest Weymouth, a storeman, the eldest surviving son of George Weymouth (1843-1888) and his first cousin and wife Clara Harris (1843-1915). He was born in Launceston on 29 Jul 1869 and was educated at the Launceston Church Grammar School in Elizabeth Street. George married Elsie Edith Gurr on 14 Jul 1897. Their nine children were born between 1897 and 1917. The Weymouth family moved to Sydney in 1899, and George died there on 18 May 1947. Their descendants remain in NSW.
