Albert Ernest Wade, born 20 Oct 1868, was the second youngest of 11 children of Walter Wade and his wife Alice Phillips, formerly Newton. The family was living in Brisbane Street when he was born. He was christened at St John's Church of England when his father was a baker and pastrycook of York Street.

Albert moved to New South Wales where he was a labourer in Tarago in 1936. He died in Goulburn, NSW, in 1952 aged 84. Albert's brother Walter Wade is also pictured in this Album. See The Examiner 19 Nov 2005, p. 35.
