George Moon Stewart, born about 1842, worked for the Launceston firm Farrelly and Stewart, drapers and clothiers, at the time of the Tasmanian Exhibition in 1891-92. After the firm ceased trading he moved to New Zealand where he died in hospital in Auckland on 19 Sep 1894, aged 52.
