Alice Margaret Scott was born in Launceston on 2 Dec 1872, the fourth child of David Scott (1837-1893) and his wife Margaret McLachlan. Alice exhibited flowers in the Exhibition of 1891-92. She and Charles Sydney Lamb married on 13 Oct 1903 in Launceston, before leaving soon after for their home in Sydney. They had at least two children: Albert Sydney born in 1905 and Alison Mary in 1907. Charles, a clerk, died in 1948. Alice died in Sydney in 1959.
