This is possibly Miss Lydia Jane Musgrave who was a milliner and a soprano in the Tasmanian Exhibition Choir in 1891-92. She was the eldest daughter of Thomas Musgrave (1827-1890) and Elizabeth Grahame Thomson (died 1913). Her father was the Secretary of the United Fire Brigade, and when he died his coffin was carried to the Charles Street General Cemetery on a fire engine. Lydia had at least eight brothers and sisters. In 1903 she was living at 207 Charles Street with her mother and sisters, Bessie a tailoress, and Jean and Mary who were employed as clerks. The family worshipped at the Christ Church Congregational in Frederick Street.

Lydia later moved to Sydney to live with her brother Frank where she died on 22 Jan 1926. She was privately interred in the Woronora Cemetery, Sutherland, NSW.
