This is possibly Annie McMahon who was born in Launceston on 17 Aug 1871, the seventh of nine children born to John McMahon, from County Clare, Ireland, and Catherine Daly. Annie was an alto in the Exhibition Choir while her sisters Mary Laredo and Margaret McMahon were sopranos.

Annie Ignatius McMahon married Michael John O'Meara on 3 Nov 1901 at Derby. They had three sons: James in 1904; Basil, who died aged 4 months in 1905; and Thomas born in 1910. Annie died suddenly at the Launceston General Hospital from an abscess on the brain on 6 Oct 1911. She was buried at Carr Villa in Section A No. 178. Her husband Michael was buried with her in Feb 1925.
