This is possibly the Miss McFarlane who sang soprano in the Exhibition Choir in 1891-92. She also took part in a Grand Exhibition Concert on 18 Nov 1891 as a soloist in a presentation of Haydn's 'Creation'.
Mary Davidson McFarlane was the third daughter of CD McFarlane, of 'Strathalbyn', South Australia. She resided in Launceston for two or three years before her marriage to WW Goodhart on 27 Nov 1897 in the Anglican Church at Esperance, South Australia. Mr Goodhart was the manager of the local branch of the Adelaide Steamship Company. Mary's brother, WY McFarlane, might have been the William McFarlane who lived in Charles Street, Launceston, at the time of the Tasmanian Exhibition.
