This is possibly William Thomas George Lee who was born in Hobart on 21 Nov 1867, a son of Thomas Lee and Eliza Carter. Others in the family were Edith Caroline Hope, born 1865 and Ernest Lee Hope, born 1871. William married Betsy Tomkinson on 26 Jun 1893 in Launceston. They had three children: Elsie May, born 22 Aug 1894; Albert Eric, 23 Jan 1896; and William Thomas Roy, 7 Oct 1899.

William was a tenor in the Exhibition Choir.

He died aged 48 on 13 Dec 1915 at 6 Percy Street, Launceston, and was buried at the Charles Street Cemetery. His wife Betsy died on 1 Aug 1916.
