Alice Victoria (Cissie) Gould was born in Launceston on 24 May 1871 to Thomas Gould (1814-1879), baker and confectioner, and his third wife Maria D Darling (1832-1878). Alice was an alto in the Tasmanian Exhibition Choir in 1891-92, while her brother Charles was in the bass section. Alice married Frank Henry Weymouth on 4 Apr 1895 at the Tamar Street Congregational Church, Launceston. They sailed on the Pateena for Melbourne to honeymoon in Victoria. Alice moved with the Weymouth family to live in Sydney in 1899. There were no children to the marriage and Alice supported herself by knitting. Frank died in Sydney in 1913; Alice died in 1930. Her husband Frank, brother Charles and sister Grace and other family members (Crossley, Gladman, Joscelyne and Steer) are also pictured in the Family Album.
