This is possibly Ernest Frank Goodger who was born on 18 Mar 1872, the sixth child of James Goodger (1842-1917) and Elizabeth Kennicott, who were married on 13 Jul 1864. In 1903 Ernest Frank was a farmer at 'Blackstone', Prospect, living with his parents and possibly his brother James Henry and his sister Elizabeth. Ernest Frank married Frances Leah Heron on 23 Feb 1906. They had two children: Ernest John, born 26 Jun 1907 and Merna, born 16 Dec 1912. Ernest Frank died on 22 Oct 1928, aged 57, and is buried at Carr Villa Cemetery. His wife Frances died on 2 Mar 1962 aged 91 and was buried with Ernest.

A Frank Goodger was living at 43 Canning Street, Launceston, in 1891, but it is not certain if he is the same person as Ernest Frank Goodger.
