This is possibly Nellie Elizabeth Gee who was born in Launceston on 17 Jan 1870 to John Gee (1831-1922) and Emma Storey (1837-1892). As a baby John Gee arrived in Hobart in May 1832 from Dublin with his parents and siblings on the Cleopatra. The family lived at 'Talisker', White Hills. After their marriage on 26 Oct 1854 John and Emma lived there until about 1868 when they moved their family to Launceston.

Nellie was an older sister of Emma Jane and Kate Selwyn Gee who are also pictured in the Family Album. Two of the sisters sang in the Exhibition Choir in 1891-92. Nellie married Arthur John Cocks on 6 Nov 1893 in Launceston.
