Catherine (Kate) Stewart Farmilo, born in Launceston on 27 Feb 1884, was the eldest child of John Todd Farmilo (1849-1933) and his wife Mary Amy Stewart (1862-1942). Catherine married Alfred John Harris, son of George Harris of Birmingham, England, on 12 Nov 1910 at 'Toronto', Leake Street, Cottesloe, Western Australia. They had three children: Joy, Kathleen and Bernard. Kate died just before her 94th birthday on 15 Feb 1978 in WA.
