Albert Valentine Davey, known as Tine, was born on 14 Feb 1872, the eighth of ten children of Thomas Davey (1825-1892), licensed victualler, and his wife Mary Bunton (1833-1903). His parents were married at Longford in 1852. Albert was christened on 18 Apr 1872 at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Cressy. Albert's occupation was described as a traveller when he was living with his sister Alicia at 6 College Street, Newstead. She died in Jul 1923 and by 1928 Albert had moved to Wentworth Street and was working as a draper. He died at the age of 75 on 12 Sep 1946 and was cremated at Carr Villa. Albert's brothers Harold and Ormand are also pictured in the Family Album.
