Annie Elizabeth Wilson Chambers was born in England in 1870 to William and Anne Elizabeth Chambers. Annie was a nurse at the Launceston General Hospital, commencing her training on 1 Sep 1890. She obtained her certificate with a pass on 18 Aug 1892 and resigned on 1 Nov 1893. Annie married Ralph Edward Hill, who was born in London in 1866, at the Holy Trinity Church, Launceston, on 9 Feb 1897. She died in Chatswood, NSW, in 1949.
