Joseph Ernest Brandwood was born in South Australia on 11 Feb 1880, the third child of Joseph Brandwood and his wife Annie Maria Reynolds. In 1903 he was an assistant, living with his parents in Westbury Street, Hackney, South Australia. His father had a bicycle shop in Rundle Street, Adelaide. Joseph junior attended the School of Mines and Industries in Adelaide. Joseph's father is also in the Album.
