This is possibly Patrick John Bellett who was born on 29 Nov 1859. From St Kilda, Ocean Beach, Dunedin, New Zealand, he won a first award for his display of blue-black ink, ink powders in tins for schools and gold paint at the Tasmanian Exhibition in Launceston, Tasmania, in 1891-92.
Patrick Bellett married Mary Jane Tunnell in 1881 in New Zealand. Their daughter Margaret Lilian (1884-1945) married William Arthur Printz in Aug 1902 and had four children. A son James Arthur was born in 1903 and died in 1990. Patrick died in New Zealand in 1940, aged 80. Mary died aged 82 in 1942.
