J Adams is possibly one of the daughters of Canon Edward Patten Adams (1833-1894) and his wife Barbara Bethune (1837-1923) who were married in Hobart on 11 Jun 1859. The couple had thirteen children between 1859 and 1881. Possible daughters are one born on 1 Jul 1869 whose name was not registered and Mary Bethune born on 10 Dec 1872. Their son, George Patten Adams appears in the Family Album.
