Alice Weymouth was born about 1873, the third daughter of Alfred Weymouth (1841-1925), carpenter, and Martha Elizabeth Cooper (c.1846-1910). Her parents were married in Launceston on 18 Jun 1867.
Alice married Alfred Harold Masters (1874-1951), architect, on 29 Nov 1899 at the residence of her parents by Rev. William Law. They had five children, the first three born at Trevallyn: Muriel Frances, 15 Nov 1900; Florence Thelma, 20 Aug 1902 and Alma Jean, 1 Jan 1905. Their only son Alan Ewan was born on 17 Feb 1907 at 144 St John Street, Launceston. Enid Joyce was born on 3 Jul 1911 at Longford. Her daughter Muriel wrote a book about her family, Seven Homes: Reminiscences and Thelma was a librarian at the Public Library for 35 years.
Harold died aged 76 on 27 April 1951. Alice passed away aged 82 on 26 Apr 1956 at her residence 6a Churchill Crescent, Launceston. She was cremated privately at Carr Villa. Harold and her Weymouth cousins are also pictured in the Family Album.
