Jane Isabel Fryett was born about 1846, the youngest child of Richard Fryett (c.1794-1856) and Anne Southern Evans (1803-1885) who were married on 1 Nov 1818. Anne was a daughter of the Surveyor-General of Tasmania, George William Evans. For many years Jane lived at 'Harden', Distillery Creek, with her brother Daniel, nephew Richard and niece Polly Fryett, who is also pictured in the Family Album. Jane died at a private hospital in Launceston on 18 Aug 1935 aged 89. Her residence at the time of her death was 47 Arthur Street, Launceston. She was privately interred in the family plot at Carr Villa Section E 133.
